Review: Justice League
Justice League, assemble! The culmination of a couple of years worth of half brained DC movies is here, with the superhero team up movie, Justice League. Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg Vs. Steppenwolf. Oh. This is DC. So it’s Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg “V” Steppenwolf: Justice League.

Review: Wonder Woman
Well the day has come. The DC Extended Universe finally has a decent movie. Let us all slowclap. The first solo superhero movie as part of the DCEU other than Man of Steel is here. I’ll get to spoilers, but I’ll warn you first. Though, there’s not a whole lot to spoil.

Review: Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2
I don’t think I reviewed the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but quick version, I loved it. It was an absolutely delightful movie. It was funny, had heart, had a pretty straight forward plot, and didn’t feel rushed.

Review: Logan
Do you like sadness? Do you like violence? Do you like father/daughter bonding while committing violence? If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, you’re going to love Logan. The third and final solo Wolverine movie, following The Wolverine, and started with the all around terrible X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Logan ends Hugh Jackman’s 17 year run playing the titular character. As always, I’ll warn you before I get into spoilers.

Review: John Wick 2
This will be one and a half reviews, because I didn’t start doing these until after I watched John Wick. To get everyone caught up, here’s the basic premise of the first John Wick movie. This will include spoilers for the first movie, but I’ll warn you before I get to the spoilers for the sequel.

Review: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
This was a bad movie. I know you nerds are going to freak out when I say this. Hear me out. Just because a movie is in the Star Wars universe, doesn’t mean it’s good. To assume that anything that is cashing in… err… I mean, totally necessary in Star Wars, is a great movie by default, is silly. Sure, there were some good scenes, but on the whole, this wasn’t a good movie. As always, I’ll get to spoilers, but I’ll warn you first.

Review: Doctor Strange
Doctor Strange is the final superhero movie of 2016. (thank fuck) After a year of movies that ranged from bad to meh, let’s see how Marvel decided to end their year. Doctor Strange is set in the MCU, so you can expect him to appear alongside Iron Man, Spiderman, and maybe even the Guardians of the Galaxy. I’ll warn you before I get to spoilers.

Review: Suicide Squad
So this was a weird movie. Like, I can’t think of a better word, than “weird”. There were a lot of great scenes, and I will get into spoilers, but I’ll warn you before I do. Let’s start with a behind the scenes story. Marvel and DC have been competitors forever. Now that Marvel has had huge success with their MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), and DC has been hit or miss (mostly miss) with their movies, they decided to create their DCEU (DC Extended Universe). DCs TV Shows have been really good, but their movies haven’t. The Dark Knight trilogy was hugely successful, and Man of Steel was OK, but…

Review: Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Note: First posted to my Facebook page, January 24, 2016 Let’s get into this. First, it was quite good. I thought all the praise was from the nerds getting a new movie, but it was really well done. It was visually stunning. The effect when the force was used was really cool. The plot seemed well paced. The nods to the previous movies seemed predictable though. Especially the cameos.

Review: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice
Note: First posted to my Facebook page March 26, 2016 Batman v (not vs, because that would make sense, and this movie doesn’t like that) Superman: Rant of Justice I’ll try to avoid major spoilers in this, but if you’ve seen the trailers, you already know everything you need to know. Seriously. You’ve seen the movie.
