Dwight Benson is Public Enemy #1

This is Dwight Benson. Dwight is 64 years old. Dwight was just arrested for his 13th DUI. Let me repeat that. Dwight was just arrested for his THIRTEENTH FUCKING DUI. You see, Benson was in the Navy for 30 years and served multiple tours in Vietnam. He started drinking during the war and has since racked up 18 reckless and alcohol related driving convictions, and more than a dozen other convictions for driving on suspended or invalid licenses. His family claims he suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. So that absolves him.

When pulled over for the latest incident, police noted that Benson could neither recite the alphabet nor TOUCH HIS HAND TO HIS NOSE. That’s “fucked up” drunk. A year ago, when he was arrested for yet another DUI, he told the judge that he “would never drink and drive again”. Did he get into a program? My source information didn’t say. He obviously didn’t stick to it.

My rant is simple.  Dwight Benson is a menace to society. He needs to be removed. I don’t care what he has done for our country. I don’t care what his family life was like. I don’t care what goes through his mind. I don’t care how nice of a person he is when he is sober. That might excuse one or MAYBE two DUIs. Unfortunately, time has proven that Benson is unable to control himself. As such, he is a danger to himself and others. He must be removed from society.

The judge that handled his case last year said that it was a “miracle” that no one has been hurt. No. It’s luck. He was let loose on society and the system got lucky. In a decently run system, Benson would have received life in prison or been put to death after… oh I don’t know… maybe the third or fourth DUI. Yet for some inexplicably stupid reason this nuisance has been allowed to offend again and again and again. This is what happens when the system lets it’s citizens down. Exactly how many chances are we going to offer him? Do we have to wait until this tumor kills someone? I think most rational people would agree that enough is enough.

How much do you think Benson has cost you, the tax payer? He is a leach on society. He produces nothing yet drains us of our resources. Mostly our alcohol reserves. We need to cast him out like the cancer he is. Do we really want to belong to a country that allows people like this to survive? We not only let him live, we allow him to do the same fucking thing over and over again. After four DUIs within a decade, state law requires this constitute a felony, if convicted. Ok. Let me be clear about this.

THAT WAS EIGHT DUIs AGO!

This should be his THIRD felony. How about we put him to death and save everyone the trouble? Jesus Fucking Christ.
