Christian Paranoia
I recently noticed another trait about Christians that I can’t stand. Well, not all Christians. Just American Christians. They seem to have this irrational belief that they are being attacked. Here’s the truth. There are very few people, like me, who want to eradicate religious people. Most non-believers see Christians kind of like the harmless town homeless. We just listen to their stories of a war they were never in, roll our eyes, and go on our way without giving it a second thought. Only a small handful are militant atheists who want to remove you from the planet.
American Christians have this paranoid fantasy that if you disagree with them, you are out to get them. Probably because if they disagree with you, they ARE out to get you. They seriously act like you not believing in their nonsense is a personal attack against them. In their deluded minds, you saying that you don’t believe in god, or in their god, is the same as stabbing them in the throat.
The reality is that most atheists don’t give a shit. They just want to be left alone and allowed to make their own choices without nut jobs interfering. Yet, for some strange reason, Christians are convinced that they are being persecuted. Any difference of opinion is a threat. It’s the same logic they use for everything. If you allow a gay to get married, then soon people will marry dogs. If you allow legalization of marijuana, then soon everyone will be strung out on heroin. If you allow people to vote for non Christians, then soon Christians will be forced into labor camps.
Sure, if in charge, I would put them into labor camps, if not flat out shoot them, but the point is that I am the minority. Most atheists don’t care about your crazy ideas. They just don’t want your ideas to affect policy. Which brings me to another point. Have you ever noticed how Christians cling to case studies to prove points? They find ONE example that proves their point and keep bringing it up. Then when you point out that 99% of the time it goes against their point, they go back to that ONE FUCKING EXAMPLE.
Anyway, Christians, I know this is hard for you to accept, but the world doesn’t revolve around you. You are the Canada to our America. We know in a kind of vague way that you exist, but other than that, we forget you are here. Except for me. I hate you all and think that you are bad for society. But I’m a case study.
